Description
Samuel Gawith’s 1792 Flake Pipe Tobacco is a bold and robust blend crafted for seasoned pipe smokers seeking a rich, complex smoking experience. Made with dark-fired Tanzanian leaf, a variety of Kentucky tobacco, this blend is renowned for its intense strength and full-bodied flavours. The tobacco undergoes a meticulous process of steaming, pressing, and baking, enhancing its natural woodsy, earthy, smoky, and spicy notes. What truly sets 1792 Flake apart is its distinctive Tonquin flavouring—a sweet and aromatic topping with a smooth, vanilla-esque perfume that perfectly balances the tobacco’s strength. The Tonquin adds a touch of sweetness without overwhelming the dark-fired leaf’s natural richness, making for a harmonious and cool-smoking experience. While the flake burns clean and steady, it’s worth noting that this blend carries a notable nicotine kick. Beginners may want to ease into stronger blends before taking on 1792 Flake, as its depth and power are best appreciated by experienced smokers.
