Power can be adjusted according to the recommended wattage range of the installed GTi coil. Dual 18650 Battery Power The device uses two external 18650 batteries. This dual-battery configuration provides the power needed for higher wattage use while also giving the device strong battery capacity for everyday use. Batteries are not included. For best performance and safety, use a matched pair of 18650 batteries with the same brand, model, age, and charge history. AXON 3.0 Chipset The AXON 3.0 chipset manages power delivery, device protections, and operating functions. It also supports Vaporesso’s BOOST Mode, which is designed to provide more consistent output during use. iTank T The kit comes with the Vaporesso iTank T, which has a 6 mL standard capacity. The tank uses a top-airflow design to help reduce leaking while allowing users to adjust the draw. A protective TPU section around the glass also adds extra physical protection to the tank. GTi Dual Mesh Coils The Armour Octa includes two GTi Dual Mesh coils: GTi 0.2Ω Dual Mesh Recommended: 60–75W Best around 65W GTi 0.4Ω Dual Mesh Recommended: 50–60W Best around 55W These coils are designed for direct-lung vaping and use a dual-mesh structure for even heating. The iTank T is also compatible with other GTi coils within the appropriate wattage range. GTi Coil Compatibility Compatible GTi coil options include: GTi 0.15Ω Dual Mesh GTi 0.15Ω Mesh GTi 0.2Ω Mesh GTi 0.2Ω Dual Mesh GTi 0.4Ω Mesh GTi 0.4Ω Dual Mesh GTi 0.5Ω Mesh Always follow the recommended wattage range printed for the coil being used. Rugged Protection The Armour Octa mod is built with multiple protection ratings: IPX8 water resistance IPX9K high-pressure waterjet resistance IP6X dust protection MIL-STD-810H shock resistance These ratings apply to the mod itself, not the full tank assembly. Battery Guard Protection The Battery Guard system monitors the voltage difference between the two installed batteries. If the voltage difference becomes too large, the device can stop output to help reduce the risks associated with unbalanced batteries. This feature does not replace proper battery care or the use of matched cells. Charging Protection The Armour Octa includes charging overheat protection. If device temperature becomes too high during charging, the system can stop charging automatically. The mod supports 5V/2.5A USB-C charging. Overtime Protection 2.0 Overtime Protection 2.0 helps prevent accidental extended firing. If the fire button is held for too long, the device cuts output. Repeated overtime triggers can also cause the device to power off. Swipe-To-Lock Control A dedicated swipe-to-lock function lets users quickly lock the controls before carrying or storing the device. This helps prevent accidental setting changes or unintended firing. Display The Armour Octa features a 0.96-inch TFT display. The screen shows important device information including wattage, battery status, resistance, and operating information.
